Revealing another side of arts and culture

Slant is the name of Cheshire’s Cultural Destinations programme, an Arts Council funded project that encompasses 15 cultural events and organisations across Cheshire and aims to raise the profile and perceptions of Cheshire as a cultural destination.

We were briefed to create the name and brand identity for the programme which offers a new angle and fresh perspective on arts within the region and aims to encourage visits from local, regional and national audiences.
The creative solution is inspired by the unusual nature of the cultural experiences available and its unexpected rural settings. The identity is designed to reveal ‘another side’ of arts and culture in the region, positioning the programme as a quirky alternative to the cultural offerings of its metropolitan neighbours. Designed to work alongside partner brands, the page fold logo is created to anchor itself to the collateral of partner events as well as creating a bright, bold umbrella brand for the programme as a whole.
